The process of grouping (of fish) for various behavioural reasons related to migration, spawning or feeding. The concentration of fish resulting from such process. May refer to schooling or a school as well as to concentrations of shools.

Other Definitions
May refer to 'schooling', which involves behavioural grouping of animals; but 'aggregation' is also used to reflect concentration (of fish) for unknown reasons or direct causes such as the concentration of food organisms, or for spawning. |
